“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psa 46:10 Since our last update, I have been constantly reminded that I have no power of my own to affect the circumstances of life. We have been on a roller coaster of emotions as we have plodded through the valleys and mountains of those circumstances far beyond our control. We have been reminded again that every mountain top has a valley on either side. Thank you for your faithful prayers. The battle is real be the victory has already been won. :o) |

Wilhite’s Weekday Woundings, Wheezings, Waylayings, and Waitings - Feb 22, 2008 |

Thank you for your continued prayers for us. We have been needing them all. Pushing Doctors and Drugs Literally every day since our trip to Chicago, someone has been sick or needing medical attention. The Thursday we came back, Malachi was complaining of a sore throat. We were able to get him into our family Dr. that evening, and he was diagnosed with pharyngitis. (One ten day regimen of amoxicillin). An hour before church on Sunday, Nathanael decided to see if he accomplish the Herculean feat of stopping the blender blade from spinning with his bare hand. He couldn’t. Thus a trip to the Urgent Care was in order. (One ten day regimen of Kephlex, Tylenol or Motrin as needed, clean bandages everyday, and thirteen stitches covering four wounds.) |

Sunday night we drove to Highland Indiana and stayed with friends in Crown Point. Monday we drove to the passport agency in Chicago. Monday night we drove to Lizton, IN. Tuesday Morning I preached a chapel service and then we all drove back to Crown Point. Wednesday we drove back to the passport agency in Chicago and then back to Crown Point. Thursday I drove back to the passport agency in Chicago and then back to Crown Point and then back to Lizton. Thursday night we all crashed when we got in. Here’s the details . . . |
